Blog 4: Difference between Fear and Respect

Difference between Fear and Respect:

Fear is a feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the existence of danger. It is the disturbance that occurs when danger is around or when you experience jeopardy. Fear is a negative emotional state which itself is the state of mind.

Respect means a lot of different things for different people. It includes taking someone’s feeling, needs, thoughts, ideas, wishes and preferences into consideration. It also means taking all of these seriously and giving them worth and value.

From the definitions above, it is now clear that fear and respect are not related to each other in any terms. However, these terms are somehow merged together when a man intimidates people and think that he has great respect among the people which actually is fear that has been fully-fledged inside the people, else no way to relate them.

Going back in time, we can see that respect played an important role in survival. If we think of a small tribe wandering in the desert we can imagine that the person who is not respected by anyone could be left behind and die as such kind of person is considered to be worthless, valueless and having not any importance of his/her existence. Respect seems to be a boomerang in the sense that you must first send it out if you really want it back. As much as you show respect as much you gain it which sure will be a key factor for the successful life.

Fear is one of the strongest emotions for every human being. Like love or hate it can distort our mind, causing us not to think and act logically in different circumstances. Fear has many consequences and it may send us to the dark path. It stifles our thinking and actions as it creates indecisiveness which ultimately results in stagnation. Fear may also lead people to the destructive habits like drug abuse and alcohols. It makes our life stressful and doubtful. To avoid these consequences all we need to do is we need to stop our mind being distracted by fear if not then it sure will push or life to darker part.

Blog 3: CONFIDENCE Vs. ARROGANCE

CONFIDENCE Vs. ARROGANCE

The state of mind or a manner marked by easy coolness and freedom from vagueness, diffidence or awkwardness is what a confidence means. It is the ability to trust your own decisions and instincts. And the arrogance is the act or habit of annexing or making undue claims in the overbearing matters. The difference between these two attributes is tremendously different, but the line regarding the actions and attitudes of these attributes may not be clearly defined. Well quite often, individuals who are usually remarkably confident may sometime cross the line that may lead them into clear arrogance without any knowledge.

Being confident is a good thing, as is being knowledgeable whereas being arrogant is not as these traits make people avoid you or dread being with you. Their difference can also be seen our emotional state as arrogance makes us feel insecure and confidence makes peace in our mind. The more arrogant we become, the more keenly we feel the dependence of our happiness upon the misfortune. Arrogance can be regarded as penurious whereas confidence is free. A confident leader want other people to reveal their talents and ultimately outperform them whereas an arrogant leader need others to continuously feel inferior so that they can protect their own low self-esteem and hide their own deed anxiety. Arrogant people need everyone else to agree with their own point of view and want to see the world revolving around them whereas confident one can embrace differences and put themselves in any world.

Confidence and arrogance are two closely related characteristics that can often be confused with one another. A person may believing that s/he is simply confident may be thought of as arrogant by other people feeling that the confidence shown by s/he is exaggerated.

Roles which I play everyday

ROLES I PLAY EVERYDAY:

No matter what a person is in his life whether an artist or a labor, millionaire or a beggar, a brilliant one or a dull s/he always has different roles to play in his life. Similarly, being a human I too have different roles to play in my life which keeps on changing as per asked by my life.
Firstly, I am an obedient, loyal and somewhat a brat son to my parents. In holidays, waking up late in the morning has always been my daily routine since my childhood so it’s obvious that my morning gets started with a loud shout from my mom and sometimes it may be from my dad too. During last holiday, after I woke up with a loud cry from my mom I went for the breakfast which was being waiting for me since my mom made it early in the morning, I warmed it up and had it. After that I sat in front of the TV opened my laptop checked my Facebook updates and took the joy pad and got started playing game. After getting called by my mother, I went in the kitchen and helped her for whatever she asked me to. And then suddenly with the harsh voice I got called from my father too and after checking out my father’s room I got the big scold from his harsh voice saying, “My son I am proud of you. You wake up so early in the morning without saying a word by your mother. I feel really good for that. ”and then I giggled and made my way out of the room making excuse of mailing the assignment to my tutor and I am sure that this made a smile to my father’s face. I made a promise to myself that I surely would wake up early on my next holiday without hearing a word from my parents.
So the next role was with my brother who is really caring for me and understands me much better than anyone else. I am much luckier to have a brother like him. I entered to my brother’s room and had some personal talks with him and I asked some money with him as I had a plan to go out with my friends. Without saying a word he gave me the money that I had wanted and asked me to take care of myself.
Then after a while my friends came to my place called me and picked me up. After then my role got started with my friends for whom I am friendly and understandable. I enjoyed my day with my friends a lot and was one of my memorable days. After then I returned home and the same roles were waiting for me to be played that were with my parents and my bother.
